Lawrence Chan
BDS MFGDPRCS Dip Imp Dent Royal College of Surgeons (Eng) (Adv Cert) ITI Fellow

Lawrence Chan is the Principal Dental Surgeon and Clinical Director of the Dental Care Partnership. He is also a tutor in dental implantology for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a lecturer in dental implantology for the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He is a member and a Fellow of the ITI. Lawrence enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but has special interests in dental implantology, advanced aesthetic and restorative dentistry, and complex oral rehabilitation. In addition to the on-going development of the Dental Care Partnership, Lawrence is committed to continuous professional development through postgraduate education and training.

Graham James
BDS, MBChB, FDSRCPS(Glasg), FRCS CSiG, FRCS OMFS(Eng) ITI Fellow

Graham James is a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Deputy Clinical Director of the Dental Care Partnership. He is a member and a Fellow of the International Team for Implantology (ITI). He provides surgical and medical support for the team, and his specialist areas of practice are dental implants, bone grafts, sinus lifts, oral surgery, sedation and management. For patients requiring general anaesthesia for more advanced surgery to reconstruct the jaws and face he has access to private hospital beds and full operating theatre facilities. He also is an accredited specialist surgeon with private medical insurance companies.

Balvinder S Khambay
PhD, BDS, FDSRCS(Eng) MOrthRCS(Ed) FDS(Ortho) RCS(Eng)

Sunny Khambay is a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Consultant in Orthodontics and is Head of the Academic Orthodontic Department at Glasgow Dental School. At the Dental Care Partnership, he runs regular orthodontic clinics and is involved with the management of the practice.

Kavit Khosla
BDS, MFDSRCS (Eng)

Kavit Khosla is a general dental surgeon. At the Dental Care Partnership he provides all aspects of general dentistry. Kavit is enthusiastic with promotion and education of oral health, and is taking a leading role in periodontal therapy and teeth whitening at the practice. He employs all other aspects of general dentistry, and has other interests in minor oral surgery procedures and the provision of conscious sedation for anxious patients. Kavit is also committed to further education and is involved in both local regional dental lectures and seminars. He is a member of the British Society of Periodontology and a member of the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry (SAAD).

Mr Khalid Malik
BDS, MFDSRCS(Eng), MPhil(Bham), FDS(Rest. Dent.)RCS

Khalid Malik is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Birmingham and a Registered Specialist in restorative dentistry, periodontology, prosthodontics and endodontics. He is also a member of the International Team for implantoloy (ITI). At the Dental Care Partnership Khalid provides his specialist skills in gum treatment requiring surgery and complex restorative treatment. He also jointly runs regular clinics with other clinicians in the team for advanced oral rehabilitation. Khalid teaches hands on practical courses and lectures to both undergraduate and postgraduate colleagues in the East and West Midlands, and has published in peer reviewed journals.

Matthew Burnell
BSc (Hons), Dip CDT Royal College of Surgeons (Eng)

Matthew Burnell is a Clinical Dental Technician and highly skilled denture technician. He creates natural and aesthetic dentures through his artistry, due care and attention to detail in his high standard of work at each stage of denture making. He works very closely with the team at the Dental Care Partnership running regular dental prostheses sessions providing simple to complex dentures and dental device services to patients. Matt is also committed to continuous professional development and has acquired the Diploma in Clinical Technology, Royal College of Surgeons of England through successful examination with Merit. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and Licentiate of the British Institute of Dental and Surgical Technologists.
